Beauty

That they would catch a glimpse of the beauty God sees in them.

The created-into-them beauty, the beauty from being made in his own image, the beauty of the hope and potential in them.

Now that my little one is napping less, I have to re-adjust my schedule, and this is one of the things that I'm not going to pressure myself to do regularly.  I will still post here once in a while, but not three times weekly like I was.  Keep praying!

Beauty

I pray for my girl's view of beauty.  I pray she knows the difference between inner and outer beauty, and puts  the proper importance on each.  May she develop a beautiful character and learn to look for the beauty in others.  May she recognize the beauty of a smile and in a positive attitude.  May she radiate beauty because she has you at her center.

Treating Others Well

May each of these children I love seek to treat people well out of a sense that that is what is right, and not our of a selfish desire for popularity.

May they understand that true beauty and real character comes from how your are on the inside, not how you look on the outside.

Camp

She's been at camp all week; I pray the things that the speaker has said and the way her cabin leaders have lived this week make an eternal impact on her.  May camp be a tool to draw her closer to you and for her to see your heart.  May being in nature open her eyes to your beauty everywhere.  May she build lifelong friendships there.

Thank you for our camp and for the way you use it to draw people to you.  Holy Spirit, work in her there today.

Love and Beauty

I pray that today, my children would see love in action, would see beauty, and would be a part of spreading that; a part of your kingdom coming in the here and now.
